Grade 6 Mathematics
Grade 6 Math Tutoring — Live Online Classes
The year the gap widens most: a full algebra chapter and a full statistics chapter, side by side. These two topics are the literal mathematics behind machine learning.

Grade 6 Math — common questions
What makes Grade 6 the biggest curriculum gap year?
A typical BC Grade 6 class explores equality using balance models, and formal one-step equations arrive in Grade 7. Here, Grade 6 covers multi-step equations with brackets and variables on both sides, plus a full statistics chapter. That depth gap in a single year is why most families join us at this grade.
My child is strong at math but bored in school — will this challenge them?
That’s exactly who this is built for. Grade 6 groups move into full equations, ratios, and number theory rather than repeating material a strong student has already mastered.
Can they start mid-cohort, or only at the beginning of a term?
Cohorts run on a 10-month structure, but we place new students where they’ll succeed rather than making everyone wait for a fixed start date — ask us in a trial class and we’ll tell you honestly where your child fits.
How much homework is there, and is it actually checked?
There is an assignment after every class — three a week — sized to take about 20–30 minutes. Every submission is reviewed and returned with feedback, not just marked complete. The practice is where the learning consolidates; the live class is where it is introduced.
